ROLE: HEAD TEACHER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A school in Ajah, Lagos is seeking a Highly Experienced Head Teacher who is currently working in a leadership capacity with a school. The Head Teacher will serve as the Senior Leader of the School,ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, managing staff and resources, creating a safe, supportive, and productive learning environment. Ideal Candidate will lead the administrative part of the Nursery/Primary department., Responsible for Academic Leadership and student welfare.

LOCATION: ILAJE BUSSTOP AJAH
SALARY: ₦350,000 – ₦400,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:

🕹️Provide strategic leadership and set high expectations for staff and students.
🕹️Lead the Management team in developing and implementing school policies, plans, and procedures.
🕹️Oversee recruitment, Drive enrollment growth, and performance of teaching and non-teaching staff.
🕹️Ensure compliance with educational standards with years of classroom teaching experience.

REQUIREMENTS:

🗃️ Candidate must possess a degree in Education, Or PGDE Or Masters.

🗃️ Candidate must possess at least 5 years of HEAD TEACHER experience with years of teaching experiences.

🗃️ Only Candidates that possess recent working experience as a HEAD TEACHER or any equivalent leadership role in a school can Apply.

🗃️ Strong Leadership, Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

🗃️ Experience with Nigerian Curriculum scheme, Computer proficiency, and ability to Multitask.

🗃️ Classroom Competency, with the ability to support teachers in Lesson planning, assessment, and integration of innovative teaching practices/technology.

🗃️ Ability to drive academics excellence and prepare students and teachers for internal/external exams.
