#### 1. DICTION TEACHER – Secondary and Primary Schools
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Diction Teacher to teach correct pronunciation, speech sounds, stress, intonation, and oral English to students in line with the NERDC curriculum and BECE standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach speech work, phonetics, and oral English using practical drills and minimal pairs
- Prepare students for oral English and external speech competitions
- Assess students’ pronunciation and provide corrective feedback
- Organize elocution, debate, and public speaking activities
- Maintain lesson notes, scheme of work, and student records
Requirements
- B.Ed / B.A in English Language, Linguistics, English & Literary Studies, or Education English
- TRCN certification is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a standard school
- Excellent spoken English with clear RP/standard Nigerian pronunciation
- Passion for working with students
- Good classroom management and ICT skills
