OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The Humanities Teacher is responsible for teaching geography/history/economics to students across various age ranges and abilities, promoting subject literacy, analytical skills, and global awareness. The role requires initiative, collaboration, and innovation, with opportunities to contribute to whole-school development and cross-departmental projects.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / TRCN.
- Degree in Economics, or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students of different ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in contributing to curriculum development or leading initiatives within a school setting (desirable).
- Familiarity with the British curriculum and assessment frameworks (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level).
