LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT TEACHING SERVICE COMMISSION (TESCOM) RECRUITMENT

The Lagos State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) invites suitably qualified individuals with a degree in Education and other requisite credentials to apply for teaching positions across public secondary schools in the state. This initiative is in line with the government’s commitment to strengthening the education sector and enhancing teaching standards across Lagos State.

The job portal, which will be accessible for two weeks — from Tuesday, 1st July 2025 to Monday, 14th July 2025 — is intended to provide a centralised platform where interested candidates can apply for entry-level teaching positions (Grade Level 08) in their respective fields. Applicants are advised to read the guidelines carefully and ensure all requirements are met before submitting their applications.

LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT TEACHING RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENT

Applicants should possess any of the following academic qualifications;

• Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and a First Degree
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed/B.Sc Ed/B.A Ed) in Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, Home Economics and other courses relevant to the above-listed subjects ( i– xviii).
• Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Scienceŕ (B.Sc), and PGDE;
• Bachelor of Engineering ( B. Eng.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), and Higher National Diploma (HND)/Technical Teachers certificate (TTC)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is added advantage
• NYSC Discharge, Exemption, or Exclusion Certificate if available
